Winsor and Newton are an important puveyor of artist materials, and one of their most popular brush offerings are the Regency Gold series of brushes. These brushes are manufactured to the highest standards for acrylic and oil work, but can also be used for watercolor. The number 2 brush is light and well balanced. The tuft is well spaced and offers just the right amount of flexibility and firmness. The smooth ferrule holds the tuft and handle in place firmly, and the handle itself is nicely designed to hold. The Golden Taklon synthetic fibers simulate fine Kolinsky sable.
The No 2 round brush is a medium small brush for detailing. There are only two smaller sizes in the W&N line up of Regency Gold brushes. Because it's still a small diameter brush, it's quite possible to paint fine details, but it's large enough to be an important and flexible addition to your brush collection.
