It is a comfortable, straightforward and simple to use easel designed with the busy artist in mind. The easel is adjustable and can accommodate canvases that range in a variety of sizes, from a modest 8" x 10" to an extremely large 60" platform. You can also use the height adjustment feature to switch from a sitting position to a standing position by simply lifting or lowering the easy-to-use handle.

This beautifully crafted easel has three clamping holders to keep your canvas secure while painting. These clamps are excellent for stretched canvases. With the optional lower canvas holder you can use panel canvases and know that they will be secure while you work. Your canvas will not suddenly slip and drop to the floor with the specially designed rubber bumpers that elevate and grip your canvas for a non-slip, worry-free ease of painting.

The Sienna art studio Counterweight Easel uses a counterbalanced system with standard weight plates (not included). The four 5 pound (2.3 kg) weight plates that are needed can be easily purchased at any sporting goods store. The counterbalance lifts and lowers the canvas carriage for easy adjustments.

No more wondering whether an easel will be too tall for your 8' (96") ceiling. It can accommodate large and smaller rooms. It is 67" tall and has a compact footprint of 30" x 30".

If you want to move the easel closer to the window when it is in the middle of the room. No problem! This easel was designed with casters, movable wheel units, at the base of the easel.
