In addition to all the functions and capabilities of the Technical series built in, the cutter is driven by a heavy-duty, industrial grade electric motor. The operator can safely control the motor with the use of an included foot-operated pneumatic floor switch. The obvious benefit is safe and accurate positioning of the project using both hands. Ships with a belt-driven cutter designed for substantial and repeated workloads.
Normal cutting speed is 20 inches per second, or 28 lbs. per inch-torque). The available high-speed version cuts at a rate of 39 in./sec. (16 lbs./inch torque). The trimmer is built using modular circuit design technology. The user-friendliness of the trimmer is unsurpassed in the industry, and any needed repairs are quick and easy. Models 1550 and above include removable baseboard extension rods used for supporting larger materials and will extend the total depth to 28 in.
