Product Description:
Alvin® Paral-Liner® 42" Deluxe Mobile Parallel Straightedge An absolute must-have for artists and draftsmen, the deluxe model Alvin Parallel Straight Edge 42In is an affordable straightedge tool that allows for smoothly-drawn lines and angles. The light-weight straightedge's satin like finish, comfortable grip and nylon rollers help users to move the blade easily. Made with phenol-condensed resin and a smooth aluminum surface that resists corrosion, the tool sports a pencil ledge for easy access to drawing utensils. Rollers retract with a simple touch. Users can prevent ink smears with the Alvin Parallel Straight Edge 42In's elevated acrylic edges and steel ball-bearing movements. This straightedge, a perfect solution to drafting square lines, holds a steady guide for drawing triangles and other shapes. For optimum results, mount the Alvin Parallel Straight Edge 42In onto a solid (not glass) and comparably-sized drafting table. Installation hardware and complete instructions are included in the package.

No parallel straightedge (whether the referenced one, another of our models, or even other brands) can be used with the Alvin Glass top Craftmaster table - there is no way to mount it.

In addition, the straightedge has to be no longer than the table top is wide - so for a 42" long straightedge, the table has to be that wide - the various model Craftmasters have tabletops only 40" wide (those extra 2" matter) so you'd have to use a 36" or smaller straightedge

Our straightedges do have offset edges for inking, but it is just the edge, not the body of the straightedge, and it is in no way adjustable
