From childhood, Paul Whittaker told his family he wanted to play the piano. His mother stated even at the age of eight he could not walk passed a piano without trying to play. What makes this so very important is Mr. Whittaker is deaf! Yet, he is living proof that someone even with a handicap can succeed in overcoming his or her handicap. He has played for numerous audiences and considered a great pianist and organist. This documentary gives you the insight into how a person with a hearing impairment can learn all aspects of music including the performance and teaching of music. We follow him as he works with hearing-impaired children and playing concerts with other musicians both hearing and hearing impaired. One word for this documentary is amazing!
