These composers and music included: Alyabyev's "The Nightingale"; Fomin's overture to "The Coachmen at the Staging Post"; Glinka's "Rusian and Ludmila Overture"; Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov: Coronation Scene"; Bortnyansky's choral "Cherubim"; Borodin's combination of western music and unique flavor of Russia in his "Quartet No. 2 in D Major"; the very prolific ( 15 operas ) composer Rimsky-Korsakov; the most renowned Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" the masterpiece of ballets, parts of his "Violin Concerto" and his final symphony "Pathetique"; Stravinsky's "The Firebird" the bases for numerous movies; and Scriabin's "Prometheus" the first composer to combine his composition with a colored light effects.
