AMACO Master Kiln Series - HF-97 Kiln, three phase, 220/240V AC

The AMACO Master Kiln Series - HF-97 Kiln can attain a maximum temperature of Cone 10. The HF-97 comes with either manual control buttons or the Select FireTM Auto Control in addition to a timer plus remote-sensing thermometer, giving it convenience, precise control, and steady results after every firing. Featuring a well-encased, top-loading floor design, the HF-97 is ideal for medium capacity firing. Thus, this design is suitable for studios or schools with smaller requirements. However, it boasts of similar quality built as the HF-101 and 105. This high temperature capability makes it suitable for firing higher temperature stoneware and porcelain as well as for overglaze decorating.

The HF-97 includes:
4.5" combined insulation, which lowers its radiant temperature, but increases its firing efficiency. This makes it extremely safe and ideal for schools.
A firing chamber capacity of 3.38 cubic foot (18" x 18" x 18")
18-gauge steel shells that give the kiln unmatched durability, welded front frames of 11-gauge steel, and 1/8" back frames of enhanced steel.
The refractory-clad lid comes with a spring balance and it is hinged on a ceramic fiber rope that makes the lining of the chamber. This gives it easy opening and closing as well as a tight seal that guarantees minimum heat loss.
The firing chamber features 14-gauge, top-quality Kanthal element wires that are fastened for easy removal.
