AMACO Master Kiln Series - HF-97 Kiln with Select Fire, single phase, 220/240V AC

This kiln, the AMACO HF-97, is a medium-capacity, single-phase powered unit suitable for use with residential power supplies. It has a wide range of heating temperatures thanks to the capability to fire to cone 10, and the 4.5” of insulation through the chamber gives the kiln a low radiant temperature, making it safe to use in smaller rooms. The chamber has 3.38 cubic feet of space.

This is a top-loading kiln. The lid is backed by refractory material to prevent heat escaping and ceramic rope fiber sits underneath. The lid seals tightly to further reduce heat loss during use.

The HF-97’s heating element wires are made from the best quality Kanthal 14 gauge wires placed into deep grooves sunken in the chamber walls and are easily removable. You can control this unit’s temperature with either the Select Fire computer module or the Kiln-Sitter/Limit Timer with a Pyrometer for accurate measure of temperature.
