Optimal for classrooms or studios, the square medium capacity HF-101 floor model kiln has the ability to fire to Cone 10. Completely safe for use in schools, this top-loading floor model offers 4.5 inches of combined insulation providing firing efficiency that can be used for overglazed decorating, and firing earthenware, porcelain and stoneware. All of this can be safely done at lower radiant temperatures. Firing chamber capacity for the HF-101 equals 5.06 cubic feet. Along with the 11 gauge steel front frames and 18 gauge steel shells, the welded 1/8 inch steel back frames provide optimum strength and durability. The kiln contains a spring-balanced lid that retains its strength at high temperatures, provides minimum heat loss, and can be easily opened and closed, along with sealing tightly. Kanthal 14 gauge element wires are securely placed but can be removed without effort. Complete with a five year warranty, this product is available with SelectFireTM computer control or with Kiln Sitter Limit Timer plus Pyrometer.
