Want to fire earthenware, glass for slumping or clays and glazes for decorations? AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 Kiln is the perfect equipment to use. It is a low-fire, small volume top-loading kiln with a maximum temperature of Cone 03.
Best for small to medium sized rooms and studios, AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 has a well-insulated top-loading floor (3” of combined insulation) for greater firing efficiency and lower radiant temperature. This makes it extremely safe even in classroom work environments and studios.
Some of the outstanding features of AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 include: 18” by 18” by 18” (3.38 cubic foot) smelting chamber volume, strong 1/8” soldered steel back frames, 11 gauge soldered steel front frames, and 18-gauge steel shells for unsurpassed durability.
To ensure minimum heat loss, AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 is incorporated with a spring-balanced, headstrong-backed lid (a perfect seal) that rests on earthenware fiber rope surrounding the chamber for effortless opening and closing.
Protection of the top-quality Kanthal 18-gauge element wires is ensured by engraving them deeply within grooves in firing chamber walls, and they have been housed in such a way that they can be removed easily.
You can order it with Select FireTM computer control or with Kiln-Sitter and Limit counter plus Pyrometer. It comes with a five-year guarantee.
