AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 Kiln, three phase, 208V AC

The EC-55 is from the AMACO Master Kiln Series and is a compact, durable, three-phase, 208V AC kiln.

This well insulated kiln loads from the top and sits on the floor with a stable footprint for safety. With a firing capacity to Cone 03 it is best suited for earthenware, glass slumping, and for low temperature clays and glazes. It's size and versatility makes it most suitable for mid-size or small professional studios, or classrooms.

Some of the features of the EC-55 include:

A 3.38 cubic foot chamber capacity allowing for many smaller pieces to be fired at once.

Approximately 3" of insulation which makes the kiln very energy efficient and keeps the exterior cooler to the touch, ideal for classrooms.

This kiln is stable and durable with strong welded steel back frames.

The refractory backed lid has a perfect seal, maintaining efficiency by minimizing heat loss. The lid movement is easy and safe, allowing for ready access to the firing chamber.

The EC-55 features top-of-the-line, removable, Kanthal 18 gauge element wires.

You can choose from available Select FireTM computer control or Kiln-Sitter and Limit Timer, with Pyrometer for complete and accurate temperature control.
