AMACO Master Kiln Series - EC-55 Kiln, single phase, 220/240V AC

Great kilns do come in small sizes. The strong and durable EC-55 is perfect for small and medium-sized studios and its low-fire temperatures makes it safe for classrooms. Its 3" combined insulated housing provides excellent firing efficiency, reduces radiant heat, and secures the removable heating element wires. The 18" x 18" 18" firing chamber is ideal for firing earthenware, glass slumping, decorating, and glazing. The top-loading refractory-backed lid is spring-balanced making for easy opening and closing. When closed, the lid forms a perfect seal with the ceramic rope lined chamber minimizing heat loss.

The Amaco EC-55 comes with a choice of controls. The Select Fire™ computer control enables you to automate firing settings while you are away or you have the option to use the more traditional Kiln-Sitter and Limit Timer with Pyrometer.
