The music of Marc and Alex Rantseli has been called a “slick funk” style. They have become rather popular in America and in other international locations. Their music has a cross-over feel which comes from their roots in the multi-ethnic communities of South Africa, a country known for its mixture of various cultural influences.

The brothers have been reluctant to admit that their music is influenced by various ethnic groups. However, if you listen to their music you will hear a number of different ethnic influences which combine to create their unique sound. As the brothers grew up in the city of Johannesburg and have been exposed to a variety of ethnic sounds it only makes sense that they will be performing music which is influenced by various ethnicities.
