Mango Grove Video (DVD)

The group the Mango Groove are a combination of traditional African sounds and African big band music. This DVD is narrated by the group's founder, John Leydon, and explores the beginnings of this group in Sophia Town and what their music style is exactly. The group has been called the "sound of South Africa" and they definitely live up to the title. This look at traditional African music with more modern. African culture classes, African history and music classes, and music classes would benefit from watching this video on Mango Groove.
