Durable and strong, white pine is a renewable wood that is available in larger quantities than other wood, which keeps the price for these stretcher bars low. It is a good choice for smaller artworks, but it should not be used on large canvases. A good choice for students or new artists, as well as experienced artist who are making smaller works.
