This high quality Richeson Kolinksy sable oil brush. You can choose from two options: Size 16 and Size 20, and this is one of the highest quality oil brushes available anywhere. Sable hair comes from the Marten weasel, and is the best hair for oil paint. Thick oils and acrylics work well with this brush because of how strong it is. This brush is designed so that the belly is right above the ferrule opening, which improves the quality of the brush. Lower quality brushes try to push the hair out too far to make it seem larger, but this compromises on quality. You won’t have that problem with this excellent quality sable oil brush.
