The Alvin four-post table base will give you a durable and sturdy foundation for drawing at a long-term use drafting station. The manufacturer has been delivering quality craftsmanship for more than 60 years, and the base's 1" x 1" heavy-gauge steel tubing and conveniently located angle rotation in the base's front and rear is everything a novice or expert designer would need. The angle adjusts from zero to 35 degrees, and using either a standard desk or elevated drafting chair is possible with the 29 to 44-inch height adjustment. A 12 by 32-inch shelf for storing supplies is attached to the base legs and the surface sits below the table top. The base is available in black. The warp-free 31 by 42-inch or 36 by 48-inch Melamine® rounded corner tabletop is sold separately.
