The Mayline Alvin High Base-For 7868Cg, Grey is the beginning of the modular system. Once you have the base in place, you can then add drawers (sold separately) to build your unit to meet your needs. The drawers will allow you to store all of your documents in an orderly manner and lying flat. The base itself is sturdy, being built from steel. There are also reinforced corners to ensure that it is durable for archival use or everyday use. The units can also be stacked to be able to get the storage needs met.
