A 78” BEST heavy duty stretcher bar which is used with BEST heavy duty cross braces. Made from high quality durable finger spliced pine, these stretcher bars are superior in quality to many others. Finger splicing method was first designed for construction but was applied to stretcher bar production to create superior bars. Stronger than natural wood, and free from splinters or knots. Made to last for several years with regular care. Rounded back allows canvases to be stretched easily and decreases surface friction. Makes painting surfaces easier to work on.
