JRC has developed a Splice Kit (SK) for extra long lengths for strength and stability. It does not affect the integrity of the bar.
A 144” heavy duty BEST stretcher bar intended for use with cross braces. Made from high quality finger spliced pine, this is very durable and will form 45 degree angles easily. No worries about splinters as the finger splicing method removes them and ensures that the wood is straight and free of knots. Rounded back reduces surface friction and allows the canvas to be drawn more tightly. A great choice to protect and preserve your art for several years to come, and designed so that it does not create ghost impressions on the canvas.
