Cross braces are important for adding stability to your frame, and they are recommended when the frame being built is 36" or longer in either direction. This is just one 36-inch cross brace, and depending on the frame you may need one or two cross braces to add stability. This cross brace is intended for use with Richeson Stretcher Bars, and the cross braces are priced per strip not per pair. This cross brace is pre notched so that it does not have to be notched, and it is already prepared for a second cross brace to be added to it.
