The AMACO GSF-670 glass kiln has top and side heating elements that uniformly fire your glass projects. It features a firing chamber that is 13.5 inches tall, giving you the space to create tall slumping and drop through molding projects.
The kiln has 6.72 cubic feet of space in the firing chamber. The single-phase GSF-670 uses 208 volts of AC power to fire up to Cone 7 and includes an 8-inch tall stand. The versatile and precise Glass Select FireTM controls the firing process. This controller has many innovations including the “anneal” button to allow you to begin the anneal process once the project reaches a specified temperature. The controller is also fully programmable and comes with firing presets installed.
The lid is secured by a steel bar while loading or unloading, or you can purchase the kiln with the optional EZ-Lift lid that lifts with the assistance of a spring hinge.
The kiln is a compact 50.5 inches wide, 33 inches deep and 28 inches tall.
You will be eligible to receive $100 in AMACO glaze products with your purchase.
Please note that glass kilns do not require venting. A copy of the instructional document “Warm Glass Renaissance” which will offer hints and tips on techniques to create beautiful glass projects is available.
