Available in two distinct shapes, the da Vinci Gilding Brushes Series-450 is specially designed to offer you the precision you need when working with silver, composite metal leaf or lower karat gold. Made of goat hair that is black, this gilding brush can be purchased either in an oval shape or a square shape. In addition to being the most popular, the oval shape can be used by the artist to gently clear away shavings from surfaces that have been freshly gilded. The flat, square shape is used on the prepared surface to tamp down the metal and gold leaf.
