National by Gerstner N-B533 Large Base. Experience storage of your favorite tools or collections in a beautifully hand-crafted box that is proudly made in the USA!
Each box is made with American red oak veneered plywood construction that will protect your valuables from the environment including unwanted moisture or rust. Cushioning is provided for your valuables with brown felt lining each drawer's interior. The dark walnut color stain with a lacquer finish is hand-rubbed on each box. Polished chrome-plated hardware including handles and a single lock on the front lid of your base finishes off the storage.
Storage includes two half-width drawers (10-7/8" by 7-1/2' by 1-3/8") and two full-width drawers (23-1/2" by 7-1/2" by 2-3/4"). Each drawer is mounted with friction-reducing molded plastic slides.
The full-dimension of the base is 25-1/2" width by 11" depth by 10" height). This large base extends your storage needs and also complements our N-533 Large Chest.

Perfect for its Design

Another of the "National by Gerstner" items, but so far as this category of items goes, nothing really changes. I use it on my workbench to store my modelling tools (plastic, resin, & etched brass), my brushes, and "spares". I also keep my ethernet punch and RJ45 clamp in it. And cable ties. And tape. You get the idea. My N-515 will sit on top of it, but not really, because I have the top covered with stuff I use constantly. It's beautiful, tough, and useful. The drawers slide easily, hold plenty, and are nicely made. The lock is pointless, but I didn't buy it for the lock (it does keep my 3 year old and 5 year old granddaughters out...for now; education is a better idea than a lock anyway).
