This Safco Alvin File,Base,6",White - base for the 4999 file system (sold separately) features sturdy 22 gauge, all steel, electrically welded construction raises the file off floor 6" for easier access & protection, and the closed format prevents loose items from rolling or being lodged underneath it. Front is recessed 2-3/4", allowing you to get closer to the files. Using anti-slip mats, it will hold a maximum of five 5-drawer (25 drawers!) files - up to 5,000 pages of archived material, or 2,500 pounds! With a long-lasting powder coated finish, this base will provide you years of service. Easy-to-follow assembly instructions.
