AMACO Excel Kilns - EX-270 with Sitter/Timer/EZ-Lift, 240V AC, single phase

The EX -270 single-phase kiln is manufactured to withstand high capacity treatment, providing the user with a safe operating experience at all times.

In order to do this, Excel makes it a point to include a reinforced steel bar for the securing of the kiln lid. This bar can be placed into two convenient positions making it easier for you to load and unload your pieces by holding the lid in place. It also boasts an EZ-Lift, spring loaded hinge for safer opening and closing of the lid. Another convenient feature includes the lid and bottom slabs as reversible in order to extend the life of the kiln.

The kiln is powered by six Kanthal A1 elements and comes with an Infinite Control switch and Dawson Kiln sitter and limit timer. A seven foot power cord with a NEMA 6-50 plug and a two-year manufacturer's warranty is also included with your purchase.
