The EX-270 fires to the maximum Cone 10, using six powerful Kanthal A1 elements. This kiln is operable through its Infinite Control switch with easy-to-use temperature regulation through its Dawson Kiln sitter and limit timer. Its standard seven foot power cord comes with a 15-50 plug for efficient three-phase operation.

The EX-270 is 23 3/8 inches in diameter with a firing chamber depth a generous 27 inches. The unit comes, standard, with a convenient, two-position, locking steel bar for lid securing, giving you exceptional safety while loading and unloading your pieces. In order to help extend the life of the unit, it features two reversible slabs.
