AMACO Excel Kilns - EX-270 with Select Fire/EZ-Lift, 240V AC, single phase

The quality standard of all Excel kilns speak well of the single-phase EX-270, which is the perfect addition to your personal or professional, high-output art studio. Able to fire to a most efficient Cone 10, this unit gives you the capability to produce fine works of art, finished to an attractive, glossy sheen if using glaze product.

The total diameter of the EX-270, including the exterior Select FireTM Computer Control box, is 23 3/8 inches in diameter with a 27 inch firing chamber depth. The unit also includes a durable 2 1/2 inch fire brick.

Powered with 240 volts of AC through six Kanthal A1 heated coil elements, The Excel 270 can easily produce high-quality earthenware with over glaze decorations as you see fit to create.

This unit comes included with a convenient EZ-Lift hinge that is spring-loaded for easier opening and closing. It also includes a reinforced steel bar which can be placed into two positions and is used to safely secure the unit lid for loading or unloading your pieces.
