The music contained on this DVD is that of the musical legend, Brenda Fassie, the niece of the great Nelson Mandela. The DVD was published before her untimely death and it features Fassie speaking about her time as a child singer during which she performed imitations of Roberta Flack. Fassie also speaks of her later music that she describes as her claim to fame, and even discusses the famous "Black President," which was the song that ultimately helped her take her place among musical greats. The song soon became the anthem for the anti-apartheid movement, with which Brenda Fassie was deeply involved, and was banned in South Africa.
