Its well-conceived design allows the pedestal table to easily fit into the design of most room decors. The base unit's construction is made from two solid maple pedestal-style panel legs. The unit's dual truss bars are constructed from maple as well. This Art/Planning table is solid - it uses a joint construction of mortise and tenon. The joint connection is further reinforced with the use of draw bolts. You can order this pedestal style table with a Tote tray, a Book compartment or with no attachment. The measurements of the Book compartment are 15” W x 15” D x 2-1/2” H. There are four Tote trays that measure 13” W x 19” D x 4” H.
