In celebration of Liquitex’s 50th Anniversary and following its tradition of innovation, ColArt & Liquitex relaunched its artist acrylics with name changes that more clearly describe their specific working properties. For over 50 years Liquitex has been manufacturing high quality paints for both professional and basic purposes. These Liquitex High Viscosity or "heavy body" colors come in 7 oz. tubes that store easily and don't dry out after opening. The paint itself comes in a range of colors that can be easily blended for an even bigger variety of hues. The paint is thick (but not too thick) and has a smooth, butter-like consistency that stays smooth and crack-free once it dries. Liquitex High Viscosity 7 oz. paints do not contain formaldehyde, latex, peanut oil, dairy products, egg products or wheat products (specfically gluten) for the safety of their customers and everyone who comes into contact with their projects.
