Jonti-Craft® Mobile Script-n-Skills Station Mobility is vital in any classroom, so what better than a four sided literacy center to help you keep materials handy? An old-school flannel board can be used for anything from sequencing a story to sorting felt letters. Two adjustable shelves provide plenty of room for station materials. A favorite in my class is the magnetic write-n-wipe easel, but when dry-erase markers are abandoned without caps, they cannot be reanimated. Instead, I may encourage the use of magnetic letters to build words.
Three clear cubbies hold anything from crayons and colored pencils to free read books and other print materials. You can free up storage space elsewhere by using four Big Book slots. Keep posters safe by hanging them on built in dowels.
