Russia: The Dark Side of the White Nights (Enhanced DVD)

Simmering hatred and xenophobia are mixing in a cauldron of violence on the streets of Saint Petersburg, which is being stirred up white supremacists who seem intent on purifying the Slavic race.  In this 56-minute, enhanced DVD, documentarians pull back the veil on neo-Nazi violence that has resulted in a long line of racially motivated assaults in the city of Peter the Great.  The program explores the 2006 death of Senegalese student Lamzar Samba, and goes on to explore the social, economic, and political factors that have drawn an estimated 15,000 youths to the neo-Nazi movement as Saint Petersburg quickly becomes the neo-Nazi capital of the world.
