Successful design projects must be managed carefully from their beginning to their completion. This program guides viewers through the steps in the process and the necessary elements to managing a successful project, including developing a finance plan and a time plan for the project, along with the more expected project and action plans. The video also helps viewers learn how to evaluate those plans and put them into practice in implementation. It also provides viewers with an understanding of reasonable expectations for a project, as all projects will have their own limitations and constraints, including the potential for environmental impact.
Planning doesn't stop at the start of a project, and this program also addresses how it continues even as work starts, including the need for assessments as the project is ongoing.
This video's run time is 17 minutes and is closed captioned for the hearing impaired. A worksheet is available online for viewing and/or printing.
