Due Process: Understanding the U.S. Criminal Justice System (Enhanced DVD) - 3-part series
Customer Reviews
Most people know about the criminal justice system from watching movies or television dramas. In reality, criminal justice situations play out much differently than what is represented in fiction. This is a three-part series that gives a detailed and realistic look at the jurisprudence process. It focuses on the constitutional foundation that balances the protection of citizens with the rights of those who are accused. It is a great resource for legal and political science students or anyone else involved in criminal justice training, and it is also a great option for civics courses and pre-law students.
Viewers get an idea of what they can expect if they ever find themselves to be involved in the criminal justice case, either as an accused person or a defendant. Instructor’s guides are available online and can be printed or viewed. A 3-part series by Films for the Humanities & Science and MotionMasters, each part is 30 minutes long. (90 minutes)
