Success in a career can depend on getting along with coworkers as much as it does with job skills and knowledge. This program discusses some of the most common problems that can come up when working with groups. Input is included from human resource representatives and viewers learn how to handle conflicts, politics, gossip and other issues. The program discusses the types of information that should be shared with supervisors as well as the information that shouldn’t. Virtual meetings and office meets are also discussed in the program, and proper etiquette at these meetings including what to say, where to sit, the protocol for the conversation, bullying, ethics, harassment and more. Young professionals discuss examples of bad behaviors in meetings. An instructor’s guide is included which can be printed from the internet. (25 minutes)
