The episodes have three case studies that feature employees that were hired after they completed two year degrees, apprenticeships or other certifications. Their personal lives are also shown in small glimpses to demonstrate that they are everyday people who enjoy guitar, motorcycle riding, and defy the sometimes commonly held perception that all STEM jobs go do the academically inclined. There is commentary included from coworkers and experts.
This is an exciting look at current and future STEM career opportunities, job responsibilities, salary ranges, and training requirements. The program should inspire those who are seeking STEM careers to look at the different training options available to them, and realize that there are many different career paths that they can take that require just two years of training.
