There are many opportunities available in the nonprofit sector, and this program explores these opportunities. The nonprofit sector can include jobs at community organizations, nongovernment associations, advocacy groups, charities and other nonprofits. Three people with a passion for their careers are highlighted in this program: Erica who works at a mental health service, Gillian who works at an eco-warrior nonprofit, and Damon who works at a radio station in an on-air role. The video highlights the fact that there are a variety of jobs available at nonprofit organizations such as tech support, PR, and others. The benefits of volunteering at nonprofits are highlighted although the goal is to get a paying job. Volunteering can be used to get valuable experience prior to getting a job at a nonprofit.
