The Clio Awards were first awarded in 1960 to recognize excellence in television advertising. It has since grown to include advertising on the radio, digital and other forms of creative marketing. The awards are a for-profit venture, with entrants paying a fee to get judged. As opposed to other entertainment related awards, the three Clios are presented for each judged category, bronze, silver and gold. Over 20,000 entries are received each year. This DVD is a compilation of the 2010 award winners. Entries range from the thought provoking to the humorous to the risque'. Included on the DVD are "Bring It to Life" from Draught Guinness, "Filed Generals" from Nike, HBO's "Teddy Bear Chase", "Rising" from Pepsi, Apple's "Time Traveler" and "Customer Care", "Lost Whiskey" from Jameson Whiskey, "Every Team Needs The Spark" from Adidas and many others. Some of these winners are from across the globe and contain nudity and adult themes. This is a terrific video for those in the industry or for students who are studying advertising and marketing.
